Posture Classes


We offer posture classes on a regular basis.  These classes help improve posture, thereby helping control pain.  Our next classes are

Tuesday December 20, 7:00 PM

Yoga Classes – Saturdays at 9:00 AM.  Call to reserve a spot!

Core Stabilization Classes – Saturdays at 10:15. Call to verify.

  Community Service
Our therapists volunteer each year for the ACMS and High School Physical Committee for sports physicals performing spinal checks/scoliosis screening.  Last year the fundraiser brought in $22,000 for high school sports medicine programs.

Physical Therapy 180 is pleased to host Boise School District Community Education for the FALL session of 2011.  We have rallied many volunteers in the community and we are excited about the curriculum. We will be hosting the presentations at our own facility: 5909 W State Street, Boise, ID. Evenings from 7-8:30 pm

Mondays, February 13, 27 and March 5,     Self Hypnosis 2: An Empowering Tool. Facilitated by a Clinical Hypnotist, Techniques will be offered and applied in class to bring more joy and peace into your life.  6:30-8:30 PM  Instructor: Sharon Sverson

Wednesday, February 22      Improving Couple’s Relationships – This workshop invites participants to relate their experiences to issues regarding conflict management, parenting, communication and more.   Improve relationship satisfaction and reduce relationship conflict and stress.  7-8:30 PM  Instructor: Kathy Rodgers

Thursday, March 1    Learn Acupressure Points for Common Problems – Learn about acupressure points that will allow you to self treat stress, anxiety, pain and  other common complaints. Taught by licensed acupuncturist.  7-8:30 PM  Instructor: Betsy Wiss, LAc

Wednesday, March 14  - Pain and Depression – This workshop helps participants to relate their experiences with issues related to symptoms of depression.  Improve awareness of depression and learn skills necessary in reducing the pain and suffering associated with depression.  7-8:30 PM  Instructor: Kathy Rodgers

Wednesday, March 28          Parent-Teen Relationships – Learn to build parent-teen relationships that promote responsibility, independence, and respect.  This interactive workshop invites parents to relate their experiences regarding the common challenges experienced in raising pre-teens and teenagers.  7-8:30 PM  Instructor: Kathy Rodgers
